If you have perused this website you will see that Marincom provides a highly
specialized service to the marine transportation industry. It involves a
spectrum of knowledge that will not be found in any particular branch of higher
education. Yet Marincom does need to recruit on a regular basis from the ranks
of those with a university background.
So we are always pleased to hear from those with degrees in non-specialist areas
such as marketing, geography, economics etc. Marincom runs its own in-house
training scheme. Candidates should be numerate and articulate recent graduates
or expecting to graduate soon. Successful applicants will begin as trainees in
the operations department with eventual opportunity to move on to business
development and possible international travel.
